Rock and Roll to Hit in production

I’ve been working on this album actively for the last 2 years, and less actively thinking about it, writing songs and wishing for it for a couple years before that.  This last year was a flurry of activity with travelling out to Mystic Fig and Jeff Bohnhoff a couple times, and doing a lot of directing, planning and fretting.

And now – it’s all over but the shouting.  The art has been proofed and approved, the master is submitted, and now all I can do is wait.  And as we all know, “The waiting is the hardest part”.  I keep feeling like I should be doing something, or that I have another task…. but it’s all done.  It always takes me a while to wind down from anything like this.  And, as Jeff and I have discussed – a project like this (or like any creative project) is never really DONE – there just comes a time when someone takes it from you.  I live that all the time in my professional life, but this is a lot more personal.

I’m so looking forward to seeing the final product.  I hope everyone else will love it as much as I loved doing it.
